Meet the Trainer

JEREMY STANBARY, NASM-CPT, CES

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER & CORRECTIVE EXERCISE SPECIALIST

Before I tell you something about who I am, let me first tell you who I’m not. I’m not an elite athlete. I’m not someone who has been fit and healthy my entire life and works out in my sleep. I’m an average person, like most of you reading this right now. But I finally broke out of the annual, seemingly endless rollercoaster ride of failed fitness attempts and learned how to achieve the health and fitness goals I had only dreamed about previously. I hit the path of no-return, came to love and thrive on exercise and healthy habits, and now I have a passion for helping others do the same.

MY BACKGROUND

I’ve been a professional theater artist since 2003 and founded Open Window Theatre with my wife, Sarah, in 2011. My overall health and fitness has always been important to me, but like most people I had an up & down, on-again off-again, love/hate relationship with exercise and healthy habits my entire life. After turning 35 I was starting to give up on the idea of ever really achieving my fitness goals.

But in May 2016 when I turned 38 I resolved to be in the best shape of my life by the time I turned 40.

After latching onto what I call my “crux point” (definitive turning point), I was able to accomplish that large-scale goal in just eight months. My health & fitness is now better than it’s ever been and it feels amazing! I decided to become a personal trainer to empower others with the knowledge and ability to achieve their own personal transformation.

I have a passion to help others live healthier, stronger, more energized lives, achieving personal goals they never thought possible. What I came to discover is that the right KNOWLEDGE, MOTIVATION and GUIDANCE leads to the necessary PASSION, PURPOSE and POSSIBILITY for incredible change. The components of this formula are important for getting over the initial mental & physical hurdles of a fitness program, enabling a person to permanently transform bad habits and experience life-improving results that last.

Scroll down to check out my certifying agency, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and then contact me for a complimentary assessment and consultation to find out what I can do for you.

I am currently training on a very part-time basis out of my fitness studio at Open Window Theatre but I am not accepting any new personal training clients at this time.
